We are pleased to announce two key leadership appointments as KeolisAmey Luas prepares to commence operation of Dublin’s Luas light rail network on 1 September.
Tom Joyner has been appointed Managing Director, bringing extensive experience leading rail and transport organisations internationally. Most recently, he served as CEO of Etihad Rail, having previously held Managing Director roles at CrossCountry and Go-Ahead London.
We are also delighted to welcome Jim Meade as Chairman. With more than 40 years of experience in the transport sector, including over seven years as CEO of Iarnród Éireann, Jim brings significant expertise in transport, infrastructure and business leadership.
Tom and Jim join KeolisAmey Luas at an exciting time as we prepare to take over operations of Dublin’s Luas network. Their focus will be on building on the network’s strong foundations, delivering excellent service for passengers and supporting the long-term ambitions for sustainable public transport across Dublin.
As we approach the start of the contract, we’re focused on a seamless transition and look forward to working with colleagues, partners and stakeholders to shape the future of the network together.
